Yes, I've seen a few threads about the MR2 pump. The thing I don't like about it is that it retains the need for fluid/hydraulics. I don't think I've ever met a 300ZX that didn't dump PS fluid all over the engine bay at least once it's life. The Prius column seems simple and elegant and dumps the pump and hoses. Maybe it depends on the rack.
